CLIENT NAME: Saporito Foods Inc.
Saporito Foods is a leading supplier and merchandiser of canola oil, corn oil, sunflower oil, vegetable oil, blended oils, shortenings, and no-trans fat frying oils to the Canadian Retail and Food Service markets.
My job here was to create a die line for the newly designed bottles and create a unique brand identify for each product. The challenge here was how to make each product unique to it's ingredient yet keep the Saporito Branding common across all products. To make all 4 products uniform, I kept the same design layout for all. To distinguish between each product and ingredient, I used the colour code that was already in effect. Ex. Canola-Red, Sunfower-Blue etc. With the Saporito Logo I used three principles of design; size, colour & shape. The logo is front and center, taking up the same amount of space across all four layouts. This would help how the bottle is seen from afar on the shelf. The photos were chosen by the client and they are unique to each product's ingredient.
